Tracy Evans

Position: Legal Secretary

Background: Tracy Evans has worked with Jane M. Lawinger since August of 1993. Tracy is responsible for preparing documents relating to litigation, including pleadings, motions, and notices. She is also responsible for the preparation of various domestic relations documents, such as Petitions for Dissolution of Marriage, Marital Settlement Agreements, Judgments for Dissolution of Marriage and Petitions for Order of Protection. Tracy graduated from St. Elmo High School in 1990 and holds an Associates Degree in Legal Secretarial Science from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois.

Crystal Elder

Position: Legal Secretary

Background: Crystal Elder has been employed with Lawinger Law Office since March of 2003. Crystal is responsible for preparing documents relating to litigation, personal injury, traffic, criminal, and collections. She is also responsible for the preparation of discovery and Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. Crystal is a Ramsey High School graduate. She resides in Vandalia with her husband Danny Elder, and daughter.

Glenda Brown

Position: Office Manager

Background: Glenda has been employed with Lawinger Law Office since December of 2006. Glenda is responsible for management reports, personnel, timekeeping, client history data, billing, supplies, payroll and accounting. Glenda graduated from St. Elmo High School in 1994 and attended Lake Land College.

Jeff Ray

Position: Investigator

Background: Jeff Ray has worked as an investigator and process server for Lawinger Law Office since the spring of 2006. He has been employed as a full-time Police Officer with the City of Vandalia for seven years and works part-time for the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. Jeff graduated from Southwestern Illinois Police Academy in 2000 where he received that included, but is not limited to, case preparation and courtroom testimony, civil rights and civil liability, criminal law, laws of admission, laws of arrest, search and seizure, rules of evidence, domestic violence, child abuse crisis intervention, observation and perception, ethics, interviews and interrogation, and fingerprinting. Jeff has resided in the Vandalia area for over 25 years. He is married and has two children.
